The SB Tactical SBA6 brace solves a real problem for AR pistol shooters. It adds a stable third point of contact, since a compact build shouldn’t have to trade away its profile.

The SBA6 keeps a streamlined 1.6-inch profile while adding a full rubber arm cuff, and that added contact point does the stabilizing work a bare receiver extension can’t. Because it’s built on SB Tactical’s five-position adjustable platform, the SBA6 lets you dial in length of pull to match your stance. It also adapts to your optic height or whatever gear you’ve already mounted. The SB Tactical SBA6 brace attaches to any mil-spec receiver extension; that said, the extension is sold separately.

An integral ambidextrous QD sling socket comes standard, which means you can sling from either side without a separate mount. The included 1-inch nylon strap adjusts to different arm sizes; as a result, the brace stays snug instead of sliding under recoil. Compared to the wider SBA3, SBA4, and SBA5, the SBA6 trades bulk for a narrower footprint. While it’s slimmer, it keeps the same broad platform compatibility the A-Series is known for. The SBA6 fits any AR-pattern pistol built around a mil-spec carbine receiver extension. For example, that includes standard AR-15 platforms, AR-9 and other pistol-caliber AR builds, and AR-pattern firearms in other calibers that share the same buffer tube spec. Given that the receiver extension itself is sold separately, confirm compatibility before ordering. The brace itself does not include one.
