Description

Glock 43 9mm — Used

A pre-owned Glock 43 9mm puts the most proven slimline carry pistol on the market in your hands without the new-gun premium.

Glock built the 43 as a true single-stack subcompact, and that decision shows in the numbers: a 0.87-inch slide, a 6.26-inch overall length, and 17.99 ounces with an empty magazine. Because the frame carries only six rounds in the grip, the pistol rides flatter against the body than any double-stack of comparable barrel length. The 3.41-inch barrel and 5.24-inch sight radius still give you enough gun to shoot accurately at defensive distances, however, which is where a lot of pocket-size pistols fall apart. Everything else stays familiar — same trigger system, same takedown, same magazine release as the rest of the lineup — so anyone already training on the platform has nothing new to learn.

This particular unit arrived with a short list of tasteful upgrades already done. Specifically, a drop-in aftermarket trigger replaces the factory shoe, paired with a silver aftermarket slide stop lever and a matching silver trigger pin and trigger housing pin. Those parts change feel and appearance rather than function, which means this Glock 43 9mm still runs on Glock’s original fire control geometry. Two factory 6-round magazines come with it — one flush-fit and one wearing a finger-extension basepad — along with a fleece-lined zippered pistol rug.

Why This Product Stands Out

The 43 solved a problem Glock had been ignoring for years. Before it arrived, shooters who wanted a genuinely thin 9mm had to leave the platform entirely and accept a different trigger, a different grip angle, and a different reload. Since the 43 keeps the same controls and manual of arms as a 19 or a 17, it slots into an existing training routine instead of competing with one.

Shootability is where this size class usually collapses, and the 43 holds up better than its dimensions suggest. The grip fills the hand far more than a pocket .380 does, especially with the finger-extension basepad in place, while the 3.41-inch barrel keeps enough velocity in defensive loads to matter. Recoil is honest for a 17-ounce 9mm, though most shooters settle into it after a magazine or two.

The upgrades on this specific pistol address the two things owners change first. A cleaner-breaking aftermarket trigger sharpens the one part of a stock Glock people actually complain about, and the silver slide stop paired with the silver pin set gives the frame a custom look without touching reliability. If you were going to order those parts anyway, they are already installed and paid for here.

Ideal Use Cases

Because of its width and weight, this pistol lands squarely in a few roles:

  • Everyday concealed carry, appendix or strong-side IWB
  • Deep concealment under light clothing
  • Backup or off-duty carry
  • Pocket carry in a purpose-built holster
  • Close-range defensive training

Condition

Excellent. The slide finish is intact across every surface, with no holster wear at the muzzle, no edge wear along the slide serrations or breech end, and no scratches or finish loss on the dust cover or frame rails. Frame texture stays crisp on both grip panels and around the trigger guard, which is usually the first area a carried Glock starts to polish. The controls, magazine release, and slide stop show no wear, while both magazines are clean with intact feed lips and unmarked baseplates. The aftermarket trigger, slide stop, and pin set are non-factory parts and are noted here as modifications rather than defects. Since the bore and breech face are not shown in the listing photos, those surfaces are available for inspection in person at our Fort Worth counter.

Compatibility Information

Magazine Compatibility This pistol takes Glock 43-specific 6-round magazines. Glock 43X and G48 magazines are not interchangeable, since those frames use a longer, wider magazine body.

Holster Fitment Holsters must be cut specifically for the Glock 43. Because the 43X and 48 carry a taller grip, holsters built for those models will not index correctly on this frame.

Optic Compatibility The Glock 43 slide has no factory optic cut and is not MOS-configured, which means a red dot requires aftermarket slide milling or a replacement slide.

Accessory Rail Compatibility The G43 frame carries no accessory rail, so weapon lights and lasers require a trigger-guard-mount or grip-mount solution.

Suppressor Compatibility The factory barrel is not threaded. Suppressor use would require an aftermarket threaded barrel.
