The Competitor HD separates itself from the standard M&P M2.0 Competitor with a full stainless steel frame — hence the “HD” designation — which adds weight, reduces felt recoil, and transforms the balance of the gun in your hand. Furthermore, that extra mass pairs with a 5-inch spiral-fluted stainless barrel and a lightened, deeply-serrated slide to create a system where follow-up shots track flat and reload speed is the only variable.
