The KNS AR/MCX Stock Adapter turns a standard AR buffer tube socket into a full 1913 Picatinny mount, opening the door to folding stocks and braces on platforms that never needed a buffer tube in the first place. Because rifles like the SIG MPX and other buffer-less AR-pattern builds rely on the buffer tube only as a mounting point rather than a functional part of the recoil system, this adapter gives shooters a modular way to run the same folding-stock hardware. Since the tube itself isn’t doing any mechanical work on these platforms, there’s no reason to keep carrying its weight.

The KNS AR/MCX Stock Adapter ships machined from aluminum and finished in matte black, since a lighter build makes more sense than a heavier steel tube once the buffer function is gone. Specifically, the two-piece design threads an externally-threaded adapter plug into the buffer socket, then locks a Picatinny rail section into the plug with a hex-socket bolt and lock washer.
