The Kimber 2K11 PRO Comp is what you get when Kimber takes the already-capable 2K11 double-stack platform and machines a compensator directly into the barrel and slide — a purpose-built competition and carry pistol that doesn’t ask you to choose between 1911 ergonomics and modern performance.

The foundation is a stainless steel frame, slide, and barrel — all CNC machined in Troy, Alabama and assembled one at a time by a single Kimber technician. The 4.25″ bull barrel runs 5R rifling at a 1:10 twist, fluted, ramped, and coated in black DLC along with the slide and DLC-coated stainless steel sub-frame. Because the compensator is machined seamlessly into the barrel and slide rather than threaded on as an afterthought, the comp port geometry is precise, consistent, and adds no length to the overall package — the 2K11 PRO Comp measures 7.79″ OAL, just like the standard Pro. The integrated forward port redirects expanding gases upward to cut felt recoil and muzzle rise meaningfully on fast strings.

Forward of the comp, the slide features custom front and rear serrations with lightening cuts — a visual and functional signature of the Comp series. The optics-ready cut runs an RMR footprint and ships with a Tag Precision RMR adapter plate, so you can mount and shoot the day it arrives. Ambidextrous thumb safety, a bumped grip safety, external extractor, and the GT Match Grade aluminum trigger — with 3.0 to 4.0 lb pull, short travel, and a clean break — round out the controls. Compatibility Information

Optic Compatibility The slide ships cut to an RMR footprint. A Tag Precision RMR adapter plate ships in the box but is not pre-installed — mount it before running an optic. This covers the Trijicon RMR and RMRcc, as well as RMR-pattern compatible optics from Holosun (507C, 508T, EPS, EPS Carry) and other manufacturers that share the footprint. Verify your specific optic’s footprint before mounting — not all micro red dots use the RMR pattern.

Magazine Compatibility Ships with two Checkmate Ultra High-Capacity 19-round magazines. The 2K11 double-stack platform uses a proprietary double-stack 1911 magazine format — standard single-stack 1911 magazines are not compatible. Verify magazine compatibility against Kimber 2K11 Pro-specific magazines when sourcing additional mags.

Accessory Rail Compatibility The full-length dustcover rail accepts standard 1913 Picatinny-compatible weapon lights and lasers. Verify light fit against the Kimber 2K11 frame width before purchase, as the double-stack frame is wider than a standard single-stack 1911.
