Because the CZ Shadow 2 Carry descends directly from the championship-winning Shadow 2 line, it inherits the trigger and grip geometry that IPSC and USPSA competitors have relied on for years, reworked specifically to make that platform carry-ready. In place of the Shadow 2’s manual thumb safety, the Carry uses an ambidextrous frame-mounted decocker paired with an automatic firing pin block and a safety notch on the hammer, which means the pistol carries safely with a round chambered without asking the shooter to manage a safety lever under stress.

The 4-inch barrel is cold hammer forged and backed by CZ’s lifetime barrel warranty, while the forged EN AW-7075 T6 aluminum alloy frame keeps the pistol at 30.4 ounces unloaded, light enough for all-day carry without giving up the weight that tames recoil. Because the slide is cut with a direct-mount Shield RMSc footprint, a red dot mounts straight to the slide with no adapter plate, letting the optic sit closer to the bore axis.
